RENEWABLE ENERGY LAW

South Africa’s Renewable Energy Law relates mainly to the transactional legal and policy issues that revolve around the development, implementation and commercialisation of South Africa’s renewable energy, i.e. solar, wind, geothermal and tidal. The Renewable Energy Law also refers to land use and financial issues encountered by developers of renewable energy projects, focusing on the practice of serving the legal needs of renewable energy project developers and companies to ensure the development of ‘clean’ technologies.
